Job Description: Senior Marketing Manager, Europe
Position Overview:
We are seeking a B2B marketer with around 5 to 10 years’ experience to join our team. This role will partner the business to drive field and campaign marketing and demand generation.
You will be measured on your effectiveness in creating brand awareness and generating pipeline for the business, working with sales, product, pre-sales and marketing teams.
This position reports to Univers’ Vice President, Marketing & Communications (based in Singapore).
As a key member of the marketing organization, you will play a central role in the growth of our business in Europe with new and accelerated pipeline.
You will engage regularly with the executive team across the GTM (Go-To-Market), Product, Services, Pre-sales functions as well as align with the internal marketing team to drive key programs out to the market.
You will have overall responsibility for the European field marketing as well as managing the execution of the plans.
Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate understanding of European marketing trends, sustainability and software technology
• Develop and own a strong marketing plan against the business pipeline goals to drive demand generation programs into the market
• To build relationships on key platforms and associations across Europe
• Jointly identify key accounts with GTM and develop account-based marketing to support the growth of these accounts
• Jointly build, adopt and localize global campaigns to ensure relevance for the local market
• Configure and build campaign strategy via Marketo for leads scoring and segmentation
• Constant A/B testing of campaigns
• Develop inside marketing qualification capabilities (inbound and outbound) through working with the Sales Development Representatives.
• Represent Europe marketing in weekly, monthly and quarterly business and marketing reviews
• Maintain database and leverage data for performance tracking
• Manage budgets for Europe marketing – manage spend and ROI
• Manage campaign spend and effective vendor management to constantly innovate and bring best practice programs out to the market
• Build and manage customer use cases
Who You'll Work With:
You will have strong collaboration with the Go-to-Market, Services, Pre-sales and Solution Architects, Product Management, Sales Development and the Marketing team. You will collaborate closely with global programs and operations to ensure that business objectives are met. You will also engage regularly with customers, partners and association leaders to help extend your knowledge and the impact of our market leadership in the downstream business
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor Degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent
• 8-10 years’ marketing experience, including exposure to well-established global brands and decarbonization topics
• Strong operational execution capabilities
• Deep understanding of B2B marketing with clear ability to demonstrate marketing growth in the region
• Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing budgets, managing spend and ROI
• Analytically grounded and able to use metrics-driven thought process in service of strategy and prioritization
• Adept at marketing automation (Digital Marketing preferred but not necessary)
• Data-driven and obsessed with monitoring pipelines and spend
