Director, Centre of Excellence (CoE) – HVAC

In this role of Director, CoE – HVAC, he/she will be reporting into Vice President.

Job Overview
We are seeking a visionary leader to head our Centre of Excellence (CoE) for HVAC Optimization on a global scale. Based in Singapore, this role requires a blend of industry expertise and strategic acumen to establish our company as a leader in HVAC solutions worldwide. The ideal candidate will serve as the external face of our HVAC offerings, fostering thought leadership globally while driving product innovation internally.

Responsibilities:

Global Thought Leadership and Industry Engagement
  • Act as the global ambassador for our HVAC optimization solutions, presenting at international industry conferences, webinars, and forums to elevate our market presence.
  • Build a strategic network with key stakeholders across global building sectors to enhance our brand presence, leveraging relationships to promote our HVAC solutions.
  • Stay informed of global industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure our products lead the market.
Product Development and Internal Advocacy
  • Lead the development and continuous enhancement of HVAC products, ensuring they meet the needs of a global market. Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and sales teams to align product vision with market demands.
  • Act as the internal champion for HVAC solutions, fostering collaboration across teams to drive innovation and respond to global market feedback.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine product strategies, maintaining a robust go-to-market approach aligned with global customer expectations and dynamics.
Sales Enablement and Market Expansion
  • Develop and deliver global training and support initiatives for sales teams, providing the knowledge and tools needed to sell HVAC solutions worldwide effectively.
  • Engage in strategic sales activities, including client meetings and presentations, to support sales efforts and expand global market reach.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the HVAC sector globally to drive growth and capture market share.
Strategic Planning and Leadership
  • Define and execute a strategic roadmap for the global HVAC CoE, aligning initiatives with the company’s broader objectives.
  • Track and analyze global KPIs to measure the success of HVAC initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the CoE, encouraging team members to stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters/Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a strong focus on global product development and market engagement
  • Extensive network within the global building environment sector
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of driving cross-functional teams toward common goals
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences worldwide
  • Strategic thinker passionate about innovation and global market leadership in HVAC optimization
  • Familiarity with AI, IoT, and digital solutions in the HVAC and building management sectors is essential
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple global priorities effectively
